Touched a Bunny

Last night little Declan fell asleep on Daddy's lap at about 8:30pm.  He went to bed and didn't wake up until 9:10am this morning.  Wow.  Such a long sleep.  He was then up for about an hour and a half before he fell asleep again.  Slept for about 45 minutes and then he was up again to play.  Something really has a hold of little Declan today because he crashed out on Mommy and Daddy's bed at 2pm again for just over a half hour.

Then Declan woke up to see Daddy for a few minutes before heading out with Mommy to meet Owen and Hayley for a trip to Chudleigh's Apple Farm.

What a fun visit for the little guy.  The boys checked out the baby animal section.  First they stopped and took in the deer.  There was a Daddy deer, a Mommy deer and two sweet baby deer.  Declan was particularly found of the Daddy deer.  It was wonderful watching him and seeing that he was really looking at them and he watched the Daddy deer walked all over his pen.   Next there were two baby cows that Declan wasn't too interested in.  After the cows there were lots of bunnies.  An employee brought out 'flopsy' a beigh and white long eared bunny to show the boys.  With Mommy's help Declan patted the soft bunny gently.  He had big eyes and smiled when he touched the soft fur.  So cute.  I'm glad he wasn't afraid.  The bunny was actually almost as big as him.

Then it was onto the goats.  Crazy goats.  A huge group of them bleating.  There were light ones, dark ones, big ones, small ones.

Then to the ducks, the chickens, the turkey, a donkey, a horse, 2 alpaca, some cute piglets that Declan enjoyed and finally some smelly sheep. 

After the animals it was a little rest by the bigger kids play area so that the mist could cool us off.  And finally we stopped in the snack area so the Mommy's could have a cold drink and the babies could have some bottle and Declan had his dinner.  Nice rest area by a little waterfall and pond.  Nice afternoon with the boys.
