My little guy had a fabulous first year and will have an even more eventful 2013. He was lucky enough to see his daycare buddies today and then visit it his friend Chelsey this evening. They got along pretty good though Chelsey was climbing all over the poor kid. He had fun with her toys though.
2012 is now behind us and we have so much to look forward to in 2013. There is a first Birthday coming up and walking is certainly in store for 2013
Happy New Year Declan!!!

Declan's Own iPhone
Little muffin got to try having a big boy breakfast this morning. Cut up pieces of waffle with a tiny bit of syrup and some raspberries and cut up blueberries. He ate about two pieces of waffle and then started throwing pieces on the floor...then he wanted to throw the plate...then this stage of breakfast was over and we moved to fruit puree which I fed him with a spoon. We'll get there.
Had fun playing with some more of Declan's Christmas toys. Go Baby Go Dinosaur with the balls that pop up in the air was a hit. He's got it backwards though. Instead of putting the balls into the dinosaur he wants to take them out. Well it's his...so I guess he gets to do whatever he wants.
Late morning we were planning on a little outing (Daddy needed winter boots) so Declan had a bottle on our bed just before we were to get our winter gear on and head out. Halfway through his bottle we had a break so I could take some photos of him in his Digger Declan shirt from Auntie Marissa. Declan stole my phone. Took some pictures and then broke into hysterics when I took it back. Well I still have the old iPhone so now it's Declan's. We charged it up and gave it to him. I swear he won't be getting whatever he wants just cause he cries for it but for today it just worked. He's very happy to have it. The bad part is that through wireless his phone is connected to my phone's email and calendar so he's been updating my scheduled events. If we had plans and I don't show I swear it's the kids fault.

Home for the Day
So happy that I get the entire day together with my little man. Woke him up just after 8am (what's with the guy sleepin' in so long?) We just hung out and played with some toys. Tried a new cereal with lots of texture and flavour. He liked it ok but he only ate about half of the serving. He wasn't too interested in eating. I think his teeth are still causing him some discomfort. Daddy got home from work just past 10am so it's almost like he was home with us the whole day. Just before 11am and it was bathtime for Declan. Boy sure was dirty. He was splashing lots. Declan really enjoys his bathtime.
Got him dried off, put on some baby cream, cleaned his ears, cut his nails and got him dressed. Then Declan went down (in his swing) for a nap. Only lasted a sad 1/2 hour. This means I didn't get much of anything accomplished during naptime. Had a LONG drawn out lunch because Declan was picky and wanted to eat a lot with his hands so after almost 2 hours of this we all headed out to the grocery store. The little man is the coolest at the grocery store. He leans back with one arm over the side and the other across the back of the seat. He's happily looking around and touches anything he can whenever we stop in an isle.
It was after 4pm when we got home and Declan was due a bottle and a nap. He was excited for his bottle but the nap he fought for 20 minutes. Daddy finally got him to sleep but then he slept for almost 2 hours. When he got up it was well past dinner time. We gave him a couple pizza crusts to chomp on and another bottle, fresh diaper and jammies then some playtime with toys and off to bed at 8:30. Mommy and Daddy are exhausted. Why did this day kick our butts?

Grandma May Outing
My little Muffin Man was in for some fun today. Both his Daddy and I were off to work before he even woke up. Grandma May was here at 6:30am and ready for the little guy to wake up. Just after 8am when he was still asleep Grandma decided it was a good time to get him. She couldn't get the bedroom door open. Declan was locked inside his room. HOW? He doesn't even sit up in his crib let alone hop out and work the locking mechanism on his door handle. We didn't even know that this door could lock as we've never tried. Somehow locked was set and his door shut tight. Grandma had to make an emergency call to Daddy to find out what to do to get to Declan (who was still asleep this entire time). Using a screwdriver Super Grandma had to pop the lock to open the door. Wow...lucky little guy. Now the day could start.
Declan got to hang out with Grandma May, Aunt Marissa and his cousin Alex again today. The adventure included an outing to Square One Shopping Centre. Declan got to ride in a mall kid cart for the first time. He's cool. Working the steering wheel like he owns it.
From what we heard he's also a big fan of the Disney Store. Came home with a Phineus...somebody gets spoiled.
Daddy says that he was told Declan was good all day but then right after our visitors left Declan started getting fussy. Daddy got him to go down for a short 1/2 hour nap after which Declan woke up crying. Not much later I returned from work to a crying little man who looked like he was in discomfort. Daddy had just given Declan some Tylenol. It hadn't set in just yet. After a quick look inside his mouth we could see that the teeth on either side of his two top front teeth are breaking through the gums. Poor muffin was in some pain. Tried a little baby orajel and then gave him some cold fruit puree for dinner. He was his old self again. So good in fact he nibbled through a pile of finger food for the next 1/2 hour while we ate our dinners. Then it was PJs, bedtime bottle, a half hour of playtime which had him late by that 1/2 hour to bed (Mommy missed him) and then right to slumberland. Can't wait to see what the teeth look like in the morning.

Couple of Giggling Nuts
Declan has enjoyed his visit with his Grandma May and Aunt Marissa but he had the best time with his cousin Alex. The two of them were a couple of giggling nuts. They were playing and laughing together today while out at the mall but I got to witness it myself at dinner when Grandma May took us all out to dinner at East Side Mario's. Declan was sitting in a high chair at one end of the table. Alex got up out of his seat and came around the table and said "boo!" which solicted the best little giggles from Declan. The laughs were taking over his entire little baby body. He was laughing so hard and having a fabulous time. I`m certain both boys are going to sleep well tonight.

Boxing Day Company
Lucky little monkey.
A good little boy all day. Hung out with his Daddy while Mommy was at work. He was such a good eater today, big breakfast and every bit of his lunch eaten up. He had a nice 1/2 hour nap in the morning and an unusual 1 1/2 hr nap in the afternoon. This was after sleeping in until 8am this morning. Guess Christmas wore him out.
I got in from work at 5pm to a happy boy. Warms my heart how happy he is to see me when I get home. Then he had a good sized dinner of squash, apples and chicken followed by a fruit and yogurt cereal bar for dessert. Then the best surprise for Declan; his Grandma May, Auntie Marissa and Cousin Alex arrived for a 2 1/2 day visit - yay! They came bearing gifts from Aunt Ruth and Uncle Ron (uncle Ron having just passed on Dec. 15) and another from Gran May. Lots of waving and bouncing, yup he's a happy guy.

Declan's First Christmas
We did it...Declan's first Christmas. Got the little man up at 7am this morning and brought him out to the living room to see all the presents under the tree and he saw that Santa had come to visit. Our little boy received a stuffed Perry the Platypus from Santa Claus. He also got a Rocktivity motorcycle which he sat atop proudly. We then brought our gifts and stockings upstairs to join my parents and my sister's family to open the stockings and gifts together.
Declan wasn't really interested in opening any gifts. He smiled when he saw his gifts and was very well behaved. Favourite stocking item: Little People Batman. For gifts he got lots of adorable clothing and some really cool toys. Pretty good for a boy that doesn't understandd what Christmas is yet.
Christmas dinner Declan had a plate prepared with turkey, mashed potatoes and stuffing. He waved the turkey around, played a bit with the potatoe, and finally ate some jarred squash. Then he got real excited about the stuffing. He excitedly ate his entire serving, bouncing and giggling. Declan loves his stuffing.
Dinner finally ended just before 8pm so we quickly got a bath ready for Declan, got him all cleaned up and off to bed at 20 past 8pm. What a nice first Christmas buddy. We love ya!

Christmas Eve
Daddy was at work when Declan got up this morning. Mommy was there and Gramma was too. Had to work today so the little guy had a Gramma visit from 7:45am until Daddy got home at 10:40am. Reports from Gramma say that Declan was a dear all morning. He was bouncing on his butt and waving an arm to music and there were a few rounds of drop the monkey all to Gramma's enjoyment.
Then Daddy and Declan spent most of the day together. Declan was great but Daddy was sick but he powered through best he could until I got home from work at 6:30pm. Earlier Daddy was trying to put together a new toy we're giving Declan for Christmas and the little man was curious about what Daddy was doing. This is the only time he'll be able to do that since next Christmas Declan will certainly be aware of what's going on.
Just a half hour before bed we opened our Christmas Eve gifts, Declan's first Christmas gift. Wouldn't you know it...what you joke about came true. Declan was more interested in the box his gift (stripped sleeper) came in than the gift itself. So cute though, he really liked that box.
8pm Declan was easily off to bed. Went down with smiles for Mommy and Daddy. We kissed him goodnight and told him Santa would be visiting in the night. We finished wrapping our gifts and placed them, along with our stockings under the tree.

Gross
Both Daddy and I were home today and got to spend time with our little monkey. I tackled meals since he eats well for me. All three, breakfast, lunch and dinner success. Declan was such a good guy today. We were out getting groceries and he's so happy being in the cart. If ever he's bored and there's nothing to do I could just stick him in the cart and go for a spin of the store. At one point he'd reached back in the cart and grabbed his box of cereal and pulled it up beside him in the front without us noticing. Gotta keep our eyes on him.
Well, things were going very well and then we had a first. Just after getting home with our groceries I put Declan in his excersaucer with some snacks and after turning my back Daddy watched Declan projectile vomit everything in his belly. All over himself and the excersaucer. We had to get a blanker to lay him on and strip him down. Wash him up and put some more clothes on him. Then I proceeded to clean up the excersaucer. I'm fine with poop but vomit is not something I'm ok with. Unfortunatley Daddy is also sick so he couldn't go near it. Uhgg. So gross.
Later this evening we had another first but this was a good one. At 4 months Declan rolled over from his belly to his back for the first time on his own. He's never been interested in rolling onto his belly because he hated being on his belly. For the last month Declan has been much more interested in being on his belly and he tries to reach for things and rolls around a lot. Tonight he rolled over from his back to his belly. He did this two separate times and he moved about on the floor quite a bit. Declan kicked his legs lots and lifted and wiggled his butt while on his tummy. Somebody's physical confidence is improving.

No Baby Time
I had to eave for work today before Daddy got Declan up out of bed. Then I got home from work about 6:30pm. Just in time to see Declsn for 5 minutes, then get changed and head out to visit our friends.
No baby time. Declan I'm sur you had fun with your Aunt and cousins but tomorrow I hope you're mine so we can catch up. Love you xoxo

Baby Love
Dropped Declan off at daycare this morning and Alexis's Mom and Dad were there. I put Declan down and Kelly picked him up right away. Alexis walked over to her Mom and her Mom said "Did you see who's here? It's Declan." Then she looked at me and said that Alexis is "so in love." Awwww, my little boy has the girls crushing on him already. Baby love. It's the cutest.

Shoppin'
I worked the evening shift today so I was home with Declan and Daddy for the morning. Its really sweet when we are able to go in to Declan's room together to get him out of his crib. He's so happy. Declan was really great this morning calmly playing with a couple toys after drinking his morning bottle. Just chillin' with us. Then I had to hop in the shower. Things changed.
I came out to a little boy who wouldn't eat his cereal for Daddy. Geeez Declan, what is it with you? You are far more cooperative when eating for me. I think you're testing Daddy. Well I wasn't having this so I sat down with Declan and made him eat almost all of his cereal. Then he had a good serving of bananas to make sure he was all full. Plus I thought the bananas could help with the liquidy poops of the last two days.
Good news. Daddy says there were no runny poops (or any poops) today. Perhaps Declan is back to normal.
So after I headed off to work it was a Daddy-Declan day. I got an update just before dinner time that showed my little muffin in the shopping cart. When I zoomed in I saw one of the Christmas toys Daddy was picking up for our boy. Guess when he's only 10 months you can do his gift shopping while he's with you...not like he has any idea. Good thing or he'd be crying for it soon as they got home. Can't wait for Declan's first Christmas. He's going to be spoiled. Where are we putting everything???

Goodbye Tears
When I drop Declan off at daycare I always stay a few minutes and talk with Kelly. It gives me a chance to see how things are for Declan. This morning I sat him down on the floor and one of the little girls Ryan came and sat down next to him. She was holding a book and Declan reached over and while looking her in the eye tried to grab the book from her. She wasn't giving it up so Declan had to. It was entertaining. I've never seen Declan try to take something from another little kids hands. He's growing up.
Then came the hardest part. This morning as I was leaving, saying goodbye to Kelly and then telling Declan to have a good day and that I'd see him later he looked right at me, his mouth opened wide and he started crying full-on. Tears immediately. My poor little guy. This was the first time he has ever cried as I was leaving. Heartbreaking. He looked so sad and just so little. He's maturing and is now aware of what is happening. I guess I can take some comfort in that he loves me.
Another proud Mommy moment.
Text from Kelly just a couple hours after dropping Declan off: "I'm very thankful to have Declan in my care. He is a wonderful new addition to the crew. I'm excited to watch him grow from a baby to a little boy."
This was the text before the poop incidents. Got a call at work at the end of Declan's day in daycare to update me on his exploding diaper incidents. Two of them. Two full outfit changes. Some little guy has a raw bottom.
We also made certain Declan got a bath tonight. He smells better now.

Poop on my Finger
Well I first have to say that I've commented often about how
Declan is being fussy because of his teeth. To be very fair to my little man I
need to say that he really has FOUR teeth coming in at once. The two front top teeth are out now and the
ones on either side are nearly busting through.
He must be in so much discomfort.
He's doing a great job considering.
We started the day off with some new treats after
breakfast. We have strawberry yogurt wafers
and very berry dried fruit wafers.
Declan just loves them. His
breath smells so good after he eats them.
I placed a bunch of his usual treats down with his new treats and he
digged out the new ones right away.
We had a good day together but because of Christmas errands
there wasn't as much playtime as we would both have enjoyed. Was glad to get home and hang out, get the
tree decorated and cuddle. When it was
time to change into his jammies he didn't smell very fresh. I offered to change him because I expected
the worst and we got it. Laid Declan
down on his change mat and took off his shirt and pants. Then I lifted him just a bit to the left so
he was placed better on the mat and that's when I noticed poop on my finger.
"Uh oh".
Tyler asks all concerned "What, what?"
"Poop on my finger."
I turned Declan over just slightly to see the poop all the
way up his backside out of his diaper.
Great....surprisingly it doesn't bother me much at all but it was
difficult to clean up. There was nowhere
to put him because he was covered but I couldn't clean him up if he wasn't
sitting somewhere clean. About 30 baby
wipes later. Declan is poop free, in his
PJs, had his bedtime bottle and is now in slumberland.

Christmas is Coming
So happy to have today off so I could spend it with my muffin man. He slept in to 8am and woke all happy as usual. Dirty little kid was way overdue for a bath so it was first priority after breakfast. Morning bottle, cereal, some play, bathtime complete with a lot of splashing, more bottle and then Declan was down for a nice half hour nap on our bed.
Not long after he got up we headed out to Oakville Place to tackle some of the Christmas shopping that is left. Mister social butterfly was smiling at all passerbys when he was supposed to be eating his lunch. Such a flirt, he was a good little guy while we were at the mall but it was a short visit. I had forgotten that there was very little at Oakville Place so we were rather quickly on our way after his lunch. Off to visit Daddy at work. We snuck in for a quick hello with Daddy and then Declan and I were in line (at Chapters) getting his new stocking. As I was holding him he was looking over my shoulder and smiling at the lady in line behind us. He held up his right hand and pointed his index finger her way. His finger was met by her outstretched index finger. THIS is Declan's new thing. He likes to point at people and smiles when they reach to him and touch his finger.
So after Chapters we gave up on shopping and decided to head over to see Gramma and Puppa. Declan got in a short nap in the car on the way over for a nice impromtu visit. There were so many Christmas things for Declan to see. We got the reindeer antlers on him and then a Santa hat. Antlers....good.....Santa hat....seemed almost tramatic. Silly muffin. It seems like his teeth are still giving him a hard time and he gets cranky kind of easy. We headed home to make sure Declan would get in at a good time for dinner. He got a good 30 minute nap in on the drive home and only woke up when Daddy came out to the car to wake him up.
In the evening just a 1/2 hour before bedtime Declan was sitting with me and I picked up his little red wooden car and started driving it along my leg. It rolled off and that caused Declan to burst out laughing really hard. He is the cutest. I continued to do this over and over and he kept busting out with these enormous laughs. Tired him out and he was off to bed for his normal 8pm. Fun day even with the cranky and looking forward to tomorrow since I don't work again and we have the entire day together.
Oh and how did I almost forget...a monkey hat arrived in the mail today from Grandma May...the cutest!!

Boy of One Thousand Faces
Declan woke this morning to Auntie T. They were to spend about 5 1/2 hours together until Daddy got home from work. Off to a great start the muffin man was watching Christmas Phineus and Ferb and Prep and Landing. He had some snacks and some playtime.
The interesting development was lunch. Declan did not like what was being served for lunch.
Trying to reason with his Auntie T:
Wondering what is wrong with Auntie T:
Questioning her judgement:
Humouring her:
Getting upset that she's not listening:
Finally pears:
Then all tuckered out. A nap until Daddy gets home:

Mommy has Good Timing
Grandma Gale hung out with little Declan this morning until Daddy got home from work early afternoon. When she arrived he was drinking his bottle but you could see behind it that he got a big smile on as soon as he saw her.
I was lucky enough to visit with some old friends after work today so I didn't see the muffin man and do I have good timing. If there we a night to miss it was tonight. Poor Daddy. Declan had a gross, wet, sloppy, almost came out if the diaper poop AND after that Declan threw up all over. Not the easy to handle formulas vomit but the I'm a big boy who eats solid foods kind of vomit. Again...poor Daddy.
Cute moment: Declan was in his excersaucer and bouncing away while Daddy made a late lunch. Then all of the sudden Declan was quiet. Daddy looked over and could see Declan had stopped bouncing and was straining to reach as far as he could to grab the Christmas tree. Soon as he noticed Daddy watching he stopped and played innocent. So sneaky.
Proud Mommy Moment
Dropped Declan off at daycare this morning and Kelly said that she missed Declan (it's been three days since he was there last). Then she told me how he so happy and he makes you feel happy. She ended by saying that she can tell, from her experience that Declan will be that one child in school that the teacher is so happy to have in their class.
So love him.

Good Day with Daddy
Mid-day Puppa was over helping to fix the drain in the bathroom which meant that Declan got a little visit. Declan was good and got his usual kiss to the forheard.
Declan also got in a little visit with his cousins. After being at work all day Mommy didn't want to be away from the muffin man so he headed off to the kitchen while Mommy made dinner. Cousins Madison and Josh were there for a short hang out. They had him giggled and thoroughly entertained.
It seems that Declan has a new thing where he does a quick little side to side shimmy. Hadn't seen it before. It's pretty cute. Wonder where he got it and how long this one will last? The funny "O" face Daddy taught him is still a pretty common sight.
And finally, even though Daddy reports that it was a great day and that he loved it there were three good messy poops to tend with. Way to go Declan, seems the fruit is working. Thanks for doing this on his day and not mine. xoxo
Oh and how I almost forgot. Daddy said his favourite part of the day was when Declan was on his belly and then he rolled over and into Daddy. They were laying like big spoon and little spoon and Daddy got to cuddle and give belly tickles to his little guy. Must have been a sweet sight.

Too Many Teeth at Once
My poor little muffin. So many teeth coming in at once, it's just taking a lot out of him. This morning he slept in to just after 9am. He's exhausted. Still woke up happy and he was great this morning but the teeth have really pushed through. After breakfast, some play and then not much longer, lunch the little man just wouldn't take a nap. He was tired but just didn't want to nap. We had plans to head over and visit with Hayley and Owen in the afternoon. We got there about 2:45 and Declan still hadn't napped. He was good for about an hour but then his teeth were getting the better of him again. Needed some Orajel and tried to sooth him with a bottle but by quarter after 4 he just had it. Hayley suggested I take him for a drive so he could get in the sleep he needed. Great advice and we were off. An hour and 20 minutes drive. I got to see some Christmas lights as the sun set and visited my folks old neighbourhood. Then we were back home for a nice night with Daddy. Declan was a good eater. Had some snacks, three french fries and then ate a good helping of Chicken and pasta and then raspberry desert. He played and giggled with Daddy for a while before bed. Hope he gets a good sleep and maybe those teeth will feel better in the morning.

Stiff as a Board
This evening Daddy picked up Declan to put him in his high chair for dinner. Declan decided this would be a good time for a first impression of a plank. Went completely rigid and Daddy simply couldn't get his little but into the seat. This way and that he simply wouldn't cooperate. Finally a little distraction and voila, he's in and Daddy quickly buckled him up.
We knew that Declan was a good boy at daycare but really didn't have a true perspective of how good until today. When Daddy picked Declan up from Kelly's he asked how he was. Kelly then proceeded to explain that Declan had a moment, that he got frustrated and three his monkey. Whoa. That's it? He threw his monkey security blanket buddy. He's the best.

The Backhand
Declan was sitting in front of me and I handed him his fishy ring rattle. He wasted no time in picking it up and swiftly back handing me across the face with it. I couldn't help but start laughing out loud which he then followed by laughing himself. A cute little giggle. Hard to believed he'd just clocked me one. Then not 30 minutes later while sitting cuddled up in my lap Declan swung his bottle around and bonked Hunter in the nose. Holy collateral damage. Declan giggled when he hit Hunter. Damn him and his awesome sense of humour. Poor kitty.
Declan did very well today considering the new teeth. Yes TEETH. He has three teeth just broken through his gums on the top. Amazing that he's in such good spirits when he must be in such discomfort. As his Daddy says "He's tough".

First Christmas Tree
This afternoon Daddy got out our Christmas tree and put it together. Next came the lights. He wrapped the tree up nicely in two long strands then we turned it on. Declan's little face lit up. He stared up at the tree and then up at Daddy. He wanted to get to the tree. I thought for a moment there he was going to up and learn to crawl all the sudden just to get to it but of course not. He really wanted over there though. I held him close so he could bat at the branches. He touches it and looks at me and then swats at the branch again. Hopefully we'll get our decorations up on the tree soon so he can see how amazing a Christmas tree is when it's all glittery with ornaments.
How fun that for his very first Christmas he's old enough to take in everything around him.

Number 3
Declan woke on his own at 6am this morning. He happily babbled away in his crib until 6:30am when I got him up. I think he just wanted to make certain that I saw him before leaving at 6:50am for work this morning. Daddy had to work at 5am so Grandma Gale was here to hang out with the Muffin Man. I heard he was good except for a minor meltdown when he was denied the TV remote. He may need his very own.
In the late afternoon Daddy and Declan were playing with a ball, rolling and bouncing it back and forth to each other. What a sweetie playing sort of catch with his Daddy already.
And finally the 3rd tooth has broken the gums. Declan officially had a front tooth. This was his top front left tooth and the right one is coming along nearly as fast. Actually there appears to be at least one more on the top too so we could have a few new teeth suddenly. My guy is going to start looking so different with his teeth. I'm missing my little baby already.

Star Wars
No sleeping in for Declan this morning. I had to wake him up at 6:20am and give him his morning bottle so he could get changed and ready for Kelly's. he acts all excited to be going while we're home then happily kicks his legs while I'm getting him into the car then the little tired man just stars off into nothing the ride over like he's none too pleased. Everything is good once we get there and it's back to smiles, kicks, waves and bounces. Declan was sitting on the floor when one of Kelly's sons came over and showed Declan his pet hamster Star Wars. Declan was so happy to see him. He bravely reached out to pat him but it was a bit rough so I had to keep him from trying a second time. He sure enjoyed seeing him. I had to run off to work then so it was kisses and goodbye to my happy little boy.
Daddy picked Declan up at 3:30pm and all reports from Kelly were that he was great all day. Dady even told me about Declan's giggle feat as he tried to put him his car seat. For no reason he could determine Declan just got them and a giggling commenced. I hope to understand his jokes someday.

May be in for a Rough Couple Days
I was home with Declan today so it was morning bottle and then bathtime for little D...and Hunter was there for the occasion. Declan is always so happy to see his Kitty and when you say "Kitty Kitty" to Declan he will very quietly repeat "Ki".
Declan was all freshened up and ready to join his buddy Owen at Skedaddle Kids for some fun. We were a bit early so Declan played with a toy near the entrance and waited for his friend to arrive.
Then they had a quick lunch and were then ready for some fun in the ball pit!!
They played on the carpet for a bit together. Owen is moble so he comes in for visits then ventures back around. I put Declan on the slide for a couple turns (holding onto him of course) and he liked it. Yay! Then heh played with my iPhone for a bit and when I took it away Declan had a baby meltdown. Tears all over and snot running down his face. Geeezzz kid...just a phone.
In the evening Daddy and I had a good look inside Declan's mouth and it would appear that there is more than one tooth just about breaking through the gums. No wonder our little guy has been a bit cranky. That's fair. He's certainly more good than difficult. During dinner tonight he put his finger near his nose and Daddy said "Don't put your finger in your nose" so Declan put his finger in his nose. I laughed. It was pretty darn funny as he discovered it.
When I was getting Declan into his jammie's for bedtime I chcnged him on the living room carpet. He was all giggly and wiggly so we played and with just his diaper on I rolled him onto his tummy and he laughed and laughed. He is good at holding up his upper body and now he enjoys it. This went on for about 15 minutes and then I finished getting him dressed and gave him a bedtime bottle. Sweet pea passed out on my lap. Amazing.
