Sharing His Day

Today was another daycare day. I snuck into Declan's room to find him sound asleep and curled up on his side. Of course with Monkey over his head. He was sleepy when he woke but happy to be going to see his friends. When he got up he told me his foot still hurt. Specifically he said it was his toe.

I kissed it.

He was happy, still limping but happy.

This evening when I got home I was pleased to see he is limping less. I'd even say he pretty much running again. 

I asked him about his day and he told me he played with friends "Ella and Georgia". He says this with a huge grin. Sure makes me happy to see his joy in his friendships.
