Jealous Daddy

What a beautiful, sunny day. I brought Declan outside so he could go for a walk with his walker. He was so proud. Struttin' along the sidewalk. He hit the grass and tumbled right over the walker just one time but he was tough. Just got right back up and kept going. He was kind of adorable.  

Right now my little man is really attached to me. Daddy excitedly got Declan up from his afternoon nap. He was holding him when I walked into the room and immediately Declan wants me instead of Daddy. Then it was time for a bottle so Daddy got down and sat in the 'bottle' position waiting for Declan. I sat Declan down and stood up for a moment. He thought I was walking away and started to cry. I had to sit down beside him for a bit while Daddy was holding him so he'd be sure I wasn't leaving.

Poor Daddy. 

He's very jealous of me right now. He wants to be more important. 

Just remember Daddy. It wasn't log ago that YOU were the favorite. Give him time.
