Rainstorm

Today Declan had an outing with Grandma Gale and Mommy. A visit to the Milton Mall for some strolling and looking around. Before the end of the trip a stop at Shoppers was required but it was outside of the actual mall. As it was time to leave the skies opened up and we got a downpour. This meant we were trapped at Shoppers. After about 20 patient minutes we braved the rain and ran for it. Declan was pretty safe since his stroller closes up like a clam shell but Mommy and Grandma got soaked. Then after walking back through the mall we had to hit the parking lot to get to our cars. Poor little Declan got a bit rained on when Mommy was detaching his car seat from the stroller and placing him in the car. Good news...he didn't melt. AND he seemed to enjoy looking at the rain on the car rear windows on the drive home. A new experience for him.
